Lom

We crossed Jotunheimen from west to east, but turned west again at Lom so we could head back toward the coast. The interior, of which we'll see more a week later, is a landscape of deep, lush valleys. It's a nice contrast to the steep, rocky fjords, but not as dramatic.

We stopped briefly to walk around the large stave church, but weren't able to go inside. The church has origins that go back to the 12th century, although it was substantially expanded in the 17th.
