Gudbrandsjuvet

This is one of those spots I'd flagged in Google Maps months before our trip, but then sort of forgot about. The more you forget, the more the surprises. I think it was the prospect of coffee and a restroom that made me stop. And then we discovered that besides those, there was a canyon and a waterfall and a series of walkways and bridges.

The Juvet Landscape Hotel, which featured prominently in the 2014 movie Ex Machina, is just downstream. I had checked reservations last winter, but even if they had been available, we could not have afforded them.
