Copenhagen

My family visited Copenhagen in 1967 and one of the few things I recall was all of the varied towers and steeples. I suppose this wasn't entirely unique to Copenhagen, but the novelty of external spiral stairways and entwined dragons must have caught my attention.

On this visit, they still caught my attention. Of course, the towers are are also particularly evident in a city with no hills and where the steeples are the only buildings that rise above five stories.

I'll come back to the steeple at Vor Fleslers Kirke in a later post.
