Millenium Park

Early Monday morning I took the train to the Loop and walked over towards Grant Park. Millenium Park apparently refers to the updated northern section of Grant Park where old railway infrastructure has given rise to some neat open space and public art.

The big silver coffee bean is actually supposed to be a cloud, but you can see where my mind is before 8AM in the morning. The mirrored surface and the curved topology give rise to a wonderful variety of reflections and effects. I liked the sinuous pedestrian bridge over Columbus Drive (credit begrudgingly goes to BP, its sponsor).
