The Loop

Still on my Monday morning walk, I headed back into the city itself and the hustle of Monday morning business. LaSalle street, which on Sunday morning had been cordoned off and littered with post-apocalyptic wreckage of cars and explosions (they were filming Transformer 3), was reopened for business as if monster robots had not stormed down the street just 24 hours before.

With more time I would have explored more of the downtown architecture. I admired the new library from the outside and walked into the Rookery and wondered (as I suppose other have) what the legacy and future of elevated rails through downtown would be.
