Dunquin Pier

It's not really a pier as much as a steep, windy walkway that ends at a tiny beach. But there is a ferry that takes folks over to the Great Blasket Island.

Apparently this summer someone tried to drive down at night and got stuck between the walls and had to spend the night in their car. And it sort of screwed up the outbound ferry commute the next morning, since no one could get around him. Poor guy - bet he won't do that again. He was probably listening to nice Irish lady in his dashboard GPS.
