Cliffs of Moher

We got into our Bed & Breakfast in Moorough around 4 in the afternoon. It was grey - the sky, the sea, and the landscape - and we wondered if we should head out to the cliffs right away or wait until the next morning. We decided we better not wait.

The cliffs are pretty amazing, no matter the color of the sky. We followed the bluffs west for a bit, then returned and climbed the long sweep of stairs up towards O'Brien's tower to the east. These cliffs tower more than 500' feet above the Atlantic.

It was getting late and we stopped at the Stonecutter's Kitchen for dinner on the way back to the B&B.

We drove past the next morning in the drizzle. We probably wouldn't have been able to see the cliffs at all, so we were glad we hadn't waited.
