Lake Washington

Every few Sundays in the summer, Seattle shuts down Lake Washington Boulevard to cars between Mount Baker Park and Seward Park and promotes walking and biking. We hadn't done this in decades, probably since D was very young, and this was something we could both do together.

I've been riding a lot this past year, mainly long rides on my not-quite-so-new Surly, and much of it stuff M would have little interest in attempting.  It was fun to get out for a more relaxing ride on a beautiful day, with company.
