Giordano's

For D, there were really only two reasons to spend almost 200 hours and most of a month trapped in a car with this parents. One was going to Yankees game, at home - their home. The other was eating pizza in Chicago, something imprinted on his brain during his and my trip in 2005.

We had dinner the first night at Pizza Due at Wabash and Ontario. It was late and the Saturday night lines were long, but not as long as the 90 minute wait projected for Giordano's. The pizza was okay, but not okay enough. We had lunch at Giordano's across from the Sears Tower yesterday, but again, not quite what we needed. So tonight, our last chance before heading back out into the pizza wilderness, we went back to Giordano's on Rush. Thou shalt eat pizza, as the sign said, and it was good!

I still want to see the Mississippi River, the Dakotas, and the Rockies, but D would probably just as soon stay here or fly back to Seattle.
