Two days on I-90 got us to Sheridan, at the foot of the Big Horns. We stayed in a generic 4-story "inn" with cookies in the lobby when you arrive and a waffle maker in the breakfast room. They perch around the Interstate exits and allow travelers yet another way to avoid any contact with local community. The Sheraton Inn downtown looked like the place to stay, but it looks like it is more of a historic set piece than an actual lodging. And I think they're still trying to raise the money to finish the renovations.
